Bregenzerwald GUEST-Card

The Bregenzerwald Guest Card is available for stays of minimum three nights from May to October and covers the duration of your stay. It is included in the price of your accommodation and it is your personal free ticket for unlimited travel on 9 summer cable cars, your bus pass from Bregenz to Lech and your admission ticket for 7 outdoor swimming pools in the Bregenz Forest.

Hiking

Endless hiking trails in the bordering Bregenz Forest and in the neighbouring valleys are waiting to be explored.We have arranged a varied hiking programme for you throughout the summer. The hiking area in the Bregenz Forest offers endless adventures for experienced and less experienced mountain goats – particularly in connection with the various summer cable cars such as the Diedamskopfbahn and the Damüls and Mellau gondolas.

Sufficient gears and good brakes are absolutely essential for going biking in the Bregenz Forest. And with the proper equipment and the best preparation provided by the info corner in the hotel and competent advice from our bike guides, biking in our fantastic mountain region is a pleasure in every sense! BIKE TORUS TO SUIT EVERY TASTE

From gentle tours along the Bregenzer Ache river to challenging mountain routes, the Bregenz Forest has everything the heart desires for mountain bike enthusiasts. Along with winding forest paths, there are also spectacular single track trails that guarantee adventure. On the gentle to medium level tours, once you reach a height of 400 to 600 metres above sea level, you have a breathtaking view of the Bregenz Forest mountains, the Allgäu Alps and even as far as Switzerland. Experienced bikers will find a biker’s paradise on the Schetteregg-Schreiberesattel or Diedamskopf-Neuhornbachhaus tours – and of course, there’s no shortage of fine catering at the cosy alpine huts.

Jochen – our biking professional

Jochen is a bike guide, riding technique instructor and the first mechanic on site. A real Bregenzerwald outdoor fanatic. In winter he works as a ski instructor and in summer he rides a racing bike or mountain bike… The main thing is on two wheels. With Jochen, lots of nature, lots of fun and a good time on tour are guaranteed.
